Defense Secretary on Wednesday appeared before Islamabad High Court (IHC) in a case of a lawyer's 'abduction'. A single member bench comprising Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui resumed the hearing of the case filed by Mumtaz Anwar Abbasi against the abduction of his son advocate Hammad Dadan. Mumtaz Anwar Abbasi contended that his son, along with three friends went to Masjid Imam Abu Daud near PIMS for Taraweeh prayers on June 20 where all four were arrested but later Ahmed was released on the spot.
The Secretary Defense in his written reply submitted that missing advocate Hammad is not with any department of Defense Ministry.
