Pakistan India Business Council (PIBC) here on Friday welcomed the meeting between Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and Indian Prime Minister Narindara Modi, terming it constructive and meaningful for peace and prosperity of the region. "We appreciate the resolve of the both Prime Ministers of Pakistan and India for continuing the dialogue process and their determination for resolving their outstanding disputes and issues through negotiations for the peace and prosperity of the region", Chairman of the PIBC, Noor Muhammad Kasuri told APP here yesterday.
He also welcomed the offer made by Prime Minister Muahammad Nawaz Sharif to his Indian counterpart Narindara Modi to visit Pakistan next year on the eve of SAARC summit. Kasuri expressed hope that the visit of Indian Prime Minister to Pakistan would help resolve disputes between the two countries. He appreciated the peace efforts by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for the prosperity in the South Asian region and urged the Indian Prime Minister to reciprocate the peace efforts of Pakistani Premier. He was of the view that all the countries of this region can overcome their problems and provide better living facilities to their people, provided they cooperate with each other.
