School van accident in Peshawar, 23 children Injured

PESHAWAR: At least 23 children were injured when a school van collided with an oncoming truck on Thursday in Peshawar's Matni area.

Matani police said the incident occurred on Kohat Road in Matani where a school van collided with a truck coming from the opposite side.

Some of the injured children were shifted to Lady Reading Hospital where doctors said two of the students were in critical condition.

The students with minor injuries were shifted to nearby Government Nasrullah Khan Babar Memorial Hospital for treatment.
