A notorious hitman, Abid Kulachi, was killed in an encounter with police in Jatoi on Monday. According to police, Kulachi was trying to flee along with his seven accomplices after injuring the complainant of a murder case in Jahanpur (Jatoi). District Police Officer, Muzaffargarh, Awais Ahmed Malik, said that Kulachi was a hitman who had killed Fahim Ahmed, the only brother of five sisters last year. On Monday, he entered the house of Sikandar Saleem and Nasir Adnan to kill the complainant of the murder case. In the meantime police reached there when they were fleeing after injuring the complainant. In an encounter, Kulachi sustained serious injuries and he was moved to Nishtar Hospital Multan but later he succumbed to injuries.
