Navy ready to conduct flood relief operation

In view of likely flood devastation, Pakistan Navy has undertaken necessary preparation to conduct effective and prompt disaster flood relief operation in Pakistan Navy's Areas of responsibility that is Southern districts of Sindh and Coastal areas. An ISPR statement here on Wednesday said that Pakistan Navy emergency response teams at Sujawal, Ormara, Gawadar and Karachi have been placed on high alert and necessary co-ordination with PDMA (South Baluchistan) and local government is being maintained to render timely assistance.
