Arrangements for FCCI election reviewed

The Election Commission will discharge its obligations strictly in accordance with the FCCI Memorandum and Articles of Association to ensure election of FCCI for 2015-16 fair, free and impartial, said Shahid Ahmed Sheikh, Senior Member, FCCI Election Commission.
While reviewing the arrangements for the upcoming election, he said that as per election schedule, voters list has already been displayed which has also been uploaded on FCCI website. The Election Commission will make serious efforts to create impartial environment in which all intending members could participate in accordance to their own free will, fully following the code of conduct as enshrined in FCCI Memorandum and Articles of Association.
It was decided that next meeting of the Election Commission will be held on August 10, 2015 to review the arrangements for next phase of election. The meeting was also attended by its other members included Chaudhry Muhammad Boota and Haji Muhammad Salim. The meeting was told that telephone numbers and e-mail addresses of members of FCCI Election Commission have been uploaded on the Chamber's website so that any intending member(s) could have access to them.
