The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore has announced the results of all candidates appeared in Secondary School Examination 2015 here on Saturday. A total number of 192,844 candidates appeared in the Secondary School Certificate examination and among them 135,844 were declared successful. The percentage of pass candidates remained at 70.18.
In Science Group, 109,802 students appeared and 86,728 declared successful with 78.99 pass percentage. In Humanities group 830,42 candidates appeared and 48,608 declared successful with 51.53 pass percentage. Meanwhile, the Board has also announced that SSC supplementary examination would start from September 08. Students can submit their application forms with single fee from July 26 to 07 August.
With double fee students could submit their forms from August 08 to August 17 and with triple fee; the Board will accept application forms from August 18 to August 20. Position holders: Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore organised an award distributing ceremony for the position holder students of Matriculation Examination 2015 here at Alhamra Hall on Saturday.
PML-N leader and provincial food minister Bilal Yasin was the chief guest of the event. The ceremony was attended by MPA's Rana Arshad, Waheed Alam, Mian Marghoob, Majid Zahoor, chairman Lahore Board Dr Nasrullah Virk, Secretary Lahore Board Faqir Muhammad Kaifi and controller Lahore Board Anwar Farooq. Shafaq Zahid of Divisional Public School who bagged first position in Board's overall exam was awarded Gold Medal, Laptop and Rs 20,000 cash while Second and Third Position holder students were awarded Silver and Bronze Medals and Rs 15,000 and Rs 10,000 cash each respectively. All students were also awarded with certificates.
