The futures spreads increased by 178 basis points (bps) to 10 percent from 8.23 percent of the preceding week. During the week that ended on July 24, the trading turnover averaged on 27.75 million shares, up about five percent compared to 26.49 million a week earlier. The average traded value, however, remained downward and depleted by 23.7 percent to Rs 2.303 billion as against Rs 3.017 billion last week.
