According to latest Meteorological and Hydrological conditions observed by Flood Forecasting Division Lahore, River Indus at Kalabagh is likely to attain high flood level ranging between 550,000 cusecs to 600,000 cusecs during the period from 1400 PST of 27th July 2015 to 1400 PST of 28th July 2015. River Indus at Chashma is also likely to attain high flood level ranging between 550,000 cusecs to 600,000 cusecs during the period from 0100 PST of 28th July 2015 to 0100 PST of 29th July 2015.
According to latest Meteorological and Hydrological conditions analysed by FFC an active monsoon weather system is affecting upper catchment of river Indus, which may cause medium to high flood in river Indus at Tarbela (upstream) ranging between 490,000 to 550,000 cusecs during next 24 hours..
rHydrological situation further indicates that River Indus at Guddu and Sukkur is also in medium to high flood level with the respective inflow of 5,13,000 cusecs and 4,17,000 cusecs of water. River Kabul at Nowshera with the flow of 1,15,000 cusecs was in Medium Flood Level. River Chenab at Marala with inflow of 1,45,000 cusecs of water was in medium flood on Sunday. River Ravi at Sidhnai was in low flood level.
Synoptic situation:
well marked seasonal low lies over south-west Balochistan and its adjoining areas with its trough extending south eastwards. Strong monsoon currents are penetrating into upper and central parts of the country and expected to continue during next two days. Monsoon currents are also approaching in southern parts of the country and expected to strengthen from tonight and continue till Thursday.
Weather Warning:
Widespread rains with scattered heavy at times very heavy falls expected in Malaknd, Hazara, Mardan, Peshawar, Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Gujranwala, Lahore divisions, Bajour, Mahmond, Khyber, Orakzai,Kurram Agencies, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan during Sunday to Tuesday, while in Sukkar, Larkana, Karachi, Hyderabad, Mirpur Khas, D.G.Khan, Multan, Bahawalpur, Zhob, Sibbi, Nasirabad and D.I. Khan division during Monday to Thursday. Heavy rains may generate flash flooding and urban flooding in the vulnerable area, and therefore, all concerned authorities have been advised to take precautionary measures.

More widespread rain-thundershower with scattered heavy falls expected in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (Malakand, Hazara, Mardan, Peshawar, D.I.Khan, Bannu, Kohat divisions), Punjab (Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sargodha, Multan, D.G khan, Bahwalpur, Sahiwal divisions), Islamabad, Kashmir, Sukkur, Mirpurkhas, Hyderabad, Zhob, Sibbi, Naseerabad divisions, upper FATA (Bajour, Mahmond, Khyber, Orakzai Agencies), whereas scattered rain-thundershower is expected in Gigit-Baltistan, Larkana, Quetta, Kallat, Makran divisions, Lower FATA ( Kurram, north and south Wazirastan agencies).

Widespread rain-thundershower with scattered heavy falls occurred in KP, Kashmir, upper Punjab, whereas scattered rain-thundershower occurred in Northeast Balochistan, Sindh and Gilgit-Baltistan.
