The newly appointed Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Abdullah bin Marzouk Al-Zahrani arrived in Islamabad on Thursday to take charge of his new diplomatic assignment. The Embassy sources said that Al-Zahrani, who took oath of his newly assignment on June 02, 2015 in front of King Salman, has arrived in Islamabad. Despite the passage of almost a year, there was no Saudi Ambassador in Pakistan after completion of tenure of the Kingdom's former envoy Abdulaziz Ibrahim Al-Ghadir in June 2014.
Saudi Deputy Chief of Mission in Pakistan Abdullah al-Zahrani was looking after the affairs of the embassy in the absence of a permanent Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan.
