NA-122 rigging case: hearing adjourned to August 3

An election tribunal on Thursday rejected the request by lawyers of National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq for adjournment of the alleged rigging case of NA-122 to August 22 and fixed it for August 3. Tribunal Judge Kazim Ali Malik said the verdict on the alleged matter of rigging in the constituencies NA-122 and PP-143 would be announced if the arguments were completed. The Associates of Asjad Saeed, Counsel of Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, sought adjournment of the case until August 22 as their senior failed to appear because he had gone abroad.
