Sindh Minister for Local Bodies, Syed Nasir Hussein Shah called on Sindh Governor Dr Ishrat ul Ebad on Monday and apprised him of measures being adopted for municipality elections in the province. He shared with the Sindh Governor details about steps taken for compliance of Supreme Court of Pakistan orders regarding transparent local bodies' polls across the province. Syed Nasir Hussein Shah informed him about ongoing development work and arrangements made to handle floods and consequent situations in the province.
Governor of Sindh urged the minister to expedite and also improve arrangements being made for much awaited local bodies elections and also drew attention towards need for improving environmental conditions in Karachi. Later Additional Inspector General of Police, Karachi visited the Governor and briefed him about ongoing operation against the criminals as well as security situation in the province.
