Co-ordinator of National Counter Terrorism Authority (NACTA) Hamid Ali Khan resigned from his position on Monday. Mr Khan has been directed to work in his capacity till the appointment of new co-ordinator. According to Interior Ministry, Coordinator NACTA has tendered his resignation, however his resignation has not been accepted so far.
Talking about the resignation, Interior Ministry stated that Hamid Ali Khan had given his resignation 3 months ago due to ill-health. However, Interior Ministry has informed him that he should continue to serve in his current capacity till the appointment of a new coordinator.
