Chief Secretary Punjab Khizar Hayat Gondal has said that competent, honest and hardworking officers and officials will be fully encouraged. He was talking to a delegation of newly-elected office bearers of PMS Officers Association, which called on him here at Civil Secretariat on Friday.
The Chief Secretary said that the government is taking measures for betterment of officers and officials of all service groups. He urged the PMS Officers Association to play its due role in improving performance of departments and administrative affairs.
PMS Officers Association newly-elected President Abdul Qayyum, General Secretary Naveed Shahzad Mirza, Secretary Coordination Safdar Wirk, and Joint Secretary Nawaz Khalid Aarbi assured the Chief Secretary of their full cooperation and support. They also invited the Chief Secretary to attend the oath-taking ceremony as Chief Guest on August 16. Additional Chief Secretary Syed Mubashir Raza was also present on the occasion.
