Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif will embark on the second round of his tour of regional countries after a nuclear agreement reached between Iran and six world powers. Zarif will visit Turkey, Lebanon and Pakistan, Iranian Press TV reported. According to Turkish sources, the top Iranian diplomat is due in Ankara on Tuesday and then sets off for the Lebanese capital, Beirut.
Spokesman of Pakistan Foreign Office Qazi Khalilullah said, "I can confirm that Iran Foreign Minister Zarif will visit Islamabad soon but the date is yet to be decided." The two sides are in touch to finalise a date in near future for the upcoming visit. The upcoming visit will be Zarif's third visit to Pakistan in the last two years. The Iranian Foreign Minister paid an official visit to Kuwait, Qatar and Iraq late in July and held key talks with high authorities. The purpose of the visit is stated to be to discuss regional situation.
