FJA training course ends: 'laws made for enforcement to create social order, decency'

A judge of the Supreme Court, Justice Dost Muhammad Khan said on Saturday that laws were made for enforcement to create social order and decency in the society. While presiding over a concluding ceremony of one week training course on 'New laws for Efficient Justice Delivery' at Federal Judicial Academy (FJA), Justice Dost Muhammad Khan said the judges had to play the desired role efficiently and effectively to save the society and the state which was confronting several challenges.
As many as 26 Additional District and Session Judges from all over Pakistan, Azad Jammu Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan attended the one week course in the FJA. "Allah will judge all of each person's deeds according to His Justice, therefore, I advise all of you who have opted for this noble profession, judiciary, to control your desires, render expeditious justice to the litigant public and earn the pleasure of Allah," Justice Dost Muhammad Khan said. He maintained that judges should live sensibly, righteously and godly in the present challenging and trying times, adding, "Always cut your coat according to your cloth".
