Chief Relief Commissioner Punjab Nadeem Ashraf has said that administration will observe Independence Day in a befitting manner on 14th August along with flood affectees in relief camps set up in flood affected districts of the province. He said that Independence Day celebrations will start on August 11 and instructions have been issued to administration of all the districts.
While addressing a meeting held regarding relief activities for flood affectees in flood-hit districts here on Sunday, Chief Relief Commissioner said that Independence Day celebrations are being started on August 11 and national flags will be hoisted on rescue boats and relief camps. He said that school children will present tableau, drama, luddi dance, national anthems, national songs and speeches.
