Turkish Airlines, the national flag carrier of Turkey has commenced daily flights between Turkey and two cities in Pakistan ie Islamabad and Lahore, from August 08. This announcement was officially made on August 10, at a small event organised by the airline at local hotel Islamabad, for media and distinguished guests such as the Ambassador of Bosnia to Pakistan and a representative from the Austrian embassy.
Commenting on the launch of operations, Yunus Mert, Turkish Airline's General Manager Islamabad said, "We are very pleased to finally be able to launch our daily flights for Islamabad and Lahore.
These routes reflect Turkish Airline's strong commitment to serve the people of Pakistan and provide direct routes from our country to Islamabad and Lahore. This increase in frequency by Turkish Airlines will see improved connectivity between these cities giving both leisure and business passengers increased flexibility for travel onto their extensive network from Istanbul."-PR
