At least five persons were killed and four others injured over a petty dispute in Gul Bandai area of district Buner in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Wednesday morning. According to details, armed men opened indiscriminate firing on a passenger van in Gul Bandai village over a dispute of women. As a result of firing five people were killed on the spot whereas four other people sustained injuries.
The bus was going Shangla from Buner when unknown attackers opened fire on the bus. Return firing from bus killed one of the assailants. The injured were shifted to the Buner district headquarter hospital for treatment. Police has cordoned off the area and started search operation for arresting the culprits involved in the incident.
