Two children drowned in water hydrant here on Wednesday. Bodies of both were recovered. Rescue sources said that while playing with their companions two children fell into water hydrant in Ahsanabad area of Karachi and drowned before they could be rescued. Later, the rescue divers recovered the bodies of the two children and handed them over to the families. Residents of the area have demanded of the district government for installing iron bars in the surrounding of hydrant to avoid any such unfortunate occurrence in future.
