The T20 captain Shahid Khan Afridi said on Thursday the team management along with selectors will be able to make a strong and balanced side before T20 World Cup 2016, scheduled in India. More experiments could be made in T20 series against Zimbabwe to make a winning combination, Afridi said talking to a TV channel. ICC T20 World Cup 2016 will be the sixth T20 WC and scheduled to be held in India from March 11 to April 3, where Sri Lanka will be the defending champion.
The T20 skipper lauded Ahmed Shehzad saying the opener was a brave cricketer who had always been seen as playing positive cricket. Players like Sarfraz Ahmed and Umar Akmal were ideal for T20 format. Replying to a question, Afridi said the team was always in need of talented and passionate players like Anwar Ali and Imad Wasim and they would be given chances in future as well. The all-rounder further said a captain should always deal with his players with love and respect.
