Bears dominated the proceedings at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) on Friday, where equities showed negative signs under the lead of hot favourite amid decrease in index. ISE Ten Index was down by 74.13 points as the ISE Ten Index moved from 3,232.66 to 3,158.53 points. The overall turnover amounted to 44,900 shares as compared to previous turnover of 4,200 shares.
Total 151 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (130) closed in negative territory, 21 landed in plus column and zero company remained pegged to its overnight levels. The volume of Byco Petroleum was 23,000 shares. The volume of Bank Al Habib was 14,000 shares. The volume of National Bank was 5,500 shares.
