ISE index improves 61.61 points

Equities moved both ways at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) on Thursday, where investors adopted a cautious approach under the lead of hot favourite amid increase in index. ISE Ten Index showed an improvement of 61.61 points as the ISE Ten Index moved from 2,905.91 to 2,967.52 points. The overall turnover amounted to 478,700 shares as compared to previous volume of 1,300 shares.
Total 153 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks 116 closed in positive territory, (37) closed in negative territory, whereas zero company remained pegged to its overnight levels. The turnover of Bank of Punjab was 470,000 shares. The volume of Adamjee Insurance was 6,000 shares. The turnover of Fatima Fertiliser was 1,000 shares. The turnover of Silk Bank Ltd was 1,000 shares.
