Titans elements exciting and exhilarating

An exhibition titled "Titans: History in your hands" recently at Sanat Gallery, Karachi was one of its kind in Karachi. The exhibition featured rare and unique autographs and memorabilia from world renowned personalities including different posters and photographs and music instruments and shoes and gloves worn by the titans of their respective fields. Every piece was of historic value bearing autographs from heroes in the fields of sports and music.
The exhibition was organised by the gallery in collaboration with "Titans Autographs and memorabilia", which specialises in collecting and trading aesthetically framed and encased items. The items on display have certificates of authenticity issued by internationally recognised certification entities. It was a fascinated collection of Yusuf Amanullah. The young lad is of the same view as Malcolm Forbes who once said," None of my other investments give me the joy that autographs do because they make me feel that I am holding a piece of history in my hands."
The collection was not only the symbols of dedication but it reflected the biggest moments of life of those heroes. The memorabilia's were the excellence of those who created history for their countries in the field of sports and music. Following their passion they win the hearts of not only their countrymen but also have fans around the globe. These titans are the source of inspiration for many and the source of pride for others. The pieces were also a source of pleasure for those who are interested in possessing such memorable treasures. The exhibition gave the opportunity to the fans to view, collect and hold the history in their hands. Collecting such items is not just a hobby but a way to preserve the moments and time immemorial for many fans and nations.
The heavy weights of past and present who has gained respect and love of fans world-wide presenting their countries fill joy and happiness in the hearts of the people through their music and sports. The sports maniacs and the music lovers found the exhibition exciting and exhilarating. The extraordinary impressive achievements of those titans stimulate younger generation and help in spreading message of hope, love and peace. The memorabilia consists of boxers, footballers, basketball and tennis stars, runners, car racers, pop music and classical stars. From Muhammad Ali and Mike Tyson to Usain Bolt, the music of Bruce Springsteen, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and slash the exhibition had everything for every fan.
The signed and autographed posters by Cristiano Ronaldo, Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa, Lionel Messi, Michael Jordan, Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray, Rafael Nadal and Serena Williams were on display too. While Muhammad Ali's gloves, Mike Tyson's boxing shorts, limited edition multi-signed FC Barcelona shirt and Cristiano Ronaldo signed shirt also attracted the visitors.
The collection included Bruce Springsteen's 1984 album "Born in the USA", which was the most successful and recognisable album. It contained seven top 10 tracks, including "Glory Days" and "Dancing in the Dark". "Born in the USA" is one of the highest selling of all time, with a total of 30 million copies sold world-wide. Rahat Fateh Ali Khan is like a treasure to our country. He has been a star in both Pakistan and India. In both Bollywood and Lollywood, Rahat is a major playback singer, starting in the late 90s. He has even been involved in some of the soundtracks of Hollywood films, such as Mel Gibson's Apocalypto. In 2014, Rahat was invited to the Nobel Peace Prize event to perform in the concert, becoming the first Pakistani to do so.
Muhammad Ali is an ambassador for so many things: boxing, equality, rights and religion. He was awarded 'Sportsman of the Century'. The glove signed by Ali was one to be cherished, as it holds the history of a strong man. It took Mike Tyson less than two years to defeat Trevor Berbick to claim the WBC heavyweight championship, becoming the youngest heavyweight champion in history at just 20 years and 4 months old. With this, many saw Iron Mike as the 'revival' of the boxing world.

As an avid fan of tennis, watching him play is a treat; the creativity and shot selection he has holds no bounds.
The unique works, photographs and symbols in various fields having special meaning to many people. Owning a legendary heroes memorabilia has its own great feeling. The stars collection at the exhibition consists of iconic status but they have achieved this excellence in their fields by struggle and hard work thus every piece has its own inspirational story.
