Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader, Senator Mohsin Aziz has strongly deplored the unprovoked firing and shelling by Indian border security forces (BSF) near the Line of Control (LoC), which violated cease-fire at the working boundary. What, he termed it was vicious and cowardly act, aiming at to sabotage Pakistan Armed forces efforts towards elimination terrorism and bringing durable peace, and stability in the entire region.
"This is a highly condemnable act on part of the Indian forces, as they want to disengage Pakistan Armed forces in the tribal areas, adjoining western border, and a deliberate attempt to weaken their efforts to make region cradle of peace and more prosperous the country, Aziz said in a statement issued here on Monday.
The Senator said Indian aggression was "unbearable" and entire Pakistani nation stood united to defend our homeland. He maintained the efforts of security forces are purely professional and dedicated toward the everlasting and sustainable peace in the region. He urged the UN and OIC to take notice of unprovoked incident at eastern border of Pakistan. Aziz furthermore eulogised that Pakistan Army is fully capable to deal with any external and internal challenges and threats to sovereignty and integrity of the country. He commended the sacrifices of troops in Operation Zarb-e-Azb, and lauded for establishment of sustainable peace in tribal region and the country as a whole.
He expressed heartedly sorrow and grief with bereaved families whose love one lost their lives due to unprovoked firing and mortar shelling at eastern front and said the entire nation stand in sorrow with them. Senator Mohsin Aziz also blamed that Indian government is attempting to delay the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) by carrying out such weaken acts. He said India cannot succeed in its nefarious designs.
He appreciated Pakistan Army 'befittingly responded to Indian unprovoked firing. He called upon India to restrain its forces from "constant violation of the cease-fire. He said that while we reserve our right to respond appropriately it is high time for India forces to stop borders violation forthwith.
