A number of exhibitors of plastics, printing, packaging and food & beverage processing have expressed satisfaction over with the outcome of a three-day exhibition. They said that the show was a fruit of the law enforcing agencies months long efforts to restore peace and maintain law and order in the commercial and industrial hub of the country, wherein business community has taken a sigh of relief after a long spell of fear and terror.
They estimated that the 13th International Exhibition of Plastics, Printing, Packaging and 12th International edition of Food & Beverage Processing have fetched over 100 million dollar orders in the three day deals and bookings. The twin expos of technology and machineries ended on Thursday here at Karachi Expo Centre, which received tremendous response from trade and industry visitors on the penultimate day.
Chinese and Iranian exhibitors received good response as they signed many contracts of machinery supply to the local entrepreneurs. Machinery at most of the stalls showed the tag "sold out" with stalls holders brimming with joy after three most hectic days. Exhibitors and organisers hoped that if the peaceful conditions sustained, the industrial and commercial hustle bustle will surely return to Karachi.
More than hundred companies from 25 countries participated in the B2B event. The Turkish Consul General in Karachi Murat Mustafa Onart also visited the venue on last day and was impressed by the great response of the visitors. Iranian Consul General Murad Subhani too visited Iran pavilion and impressed with the exhibitors' and organisers efforts. The local and foreign visitors participated with latest technology, showcasing the latest product range from plastics processing, printing and packaging, including injection molding, slitting and winding, shrink, stretch wrapping, solvent less laminators, industrial compressors, mono and multi-layer blown film lines and petrochemicals.
