A complete shutter down strike was observed in Indian Occupied Kashmir on Saturday against ban on sale of beef and cow slaughter. The Chairman of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Syed Ali Gilani had called for a shutdown today against the High Court ruling which ordered the police to strictly implement the beef ban in the Indian-held Kashmir. The shutdown affected normal life in most parts of the Valley as shops, business establishments, offices, petrol pumps and educational institutions remained closed while public transport was off the roads. Restrictions have been imposed in different areas to stop any procession.
