The investigation team of police is groping in dark and it could not reach to any conclusion whether it was suicidal attack or remote control device was used or explosive material was being shifted to some other place. Death toll rose to eleven in a blast at Rickshaw stand on Monday as two people succumbed to wounds in Nishtar Hospital Multan, said Dr Ashiq Malik, Medical Superintendent.
Lawyers of Multan observed the day of mourning over the deaths in the blast at Rickshaw stand of Vehari Road in Multan. They boycotted their professional duties and visited the hospital to inquire after the injured persons and express solidarity with the deceased families. At least 11 people including a four year old boy and two women died when an explosion occurred near a packed rickshaw stand in Multan Sunday evening, Police reported. Rescue 1122 official Dr Kaleem confirmed that 11 people have died in the blast while 57 people have been injured.
