US Ambassador Richard Olson paid a farewell call on the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Syed Tariq Fatemi today. The Special Assistant appreciated the positive contribution of Ambassador Olson to the development of Pakistan-US relations during his stint as the US envoy. He also expressed satisfaction at the current upward trajectory being witnessed in Pakistan-US relations.
Fatemi wished the US Ambassador success in his future endeavours and stated that he was looking forward to work with his successor for further broadening of the Pakistan-US partnership. The US Ambassador expressed the hope that Pakistan-US relations would be further strengthened in the years ahead. He conveyed his gratitude to the Government and people of Pakistan for extending co-operation during his fruitful stay in the country.-PR
