Small trading was witnessed on the local grain market on Saturday in the process of modest trading, dealers said. On the cereals side, Moong Punjab posted fresh gain of Rs 750 to Rs 9000 and Moong Afghan followed same pattern, rising by Rs 950 to Rs 11000, other commodities maintained overnight levels, they said. On the rice sector, Irri-6 Sindh low type was up by Rs 20 to Rs 2780 and the best quality was higher by Rs 30 to Rs 2820, they said.
On the seeds side, cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh new quoted at Rs 1475 and Rs 1500, other items did not move any side due to balanced demand and supply, they added. Prices were unmoved on the grams side, they said.
