Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah has reiterated the government's resolve to eliminate terrorists from the province. In a statement on Monday, he said that Sindh police was making all out efforts towards eradicating crimes from the province. Taking notice of the killing of Sub-Inspector Ishtiaq Ahmed in Hyderabad, the Chief Minister ordered an inquiry into the incident and arrest of the culprits without any delay. He also condoled with the bereaved family members of the deceased police officer.
Qaim said that Sindh Police was now rich with brave police officers and cops and such cowardly attacks could not deter the government's resolve to eliminate crime. He said that war against terrorists would be continued till the elimination of last terrorist. "Sindh will be transformed into a terrorist and crime-free province as per commitment of the PPP-led provincial government," he added. The Chief Minister also lauded the achievements of Sindh Police and Rangers in war against crimes in the province.
