At least three persons were killed in separate incidents of violence while police arrested some 34 suspects including gang war operatives, here on Wednesday. According to police and rescue sources, some unidentified armed men opened firing in Orangi Bazar, killing a man identified as Abid Baloch on the spot. He was said to be a worker of Pakistan People's Party (PPP).
Two more persons were killed by unknown assailants in Orangi Town and Pak Colony respectively. The bodies were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for medico-legal formalities. A woman received bullet injuries in Korangi Zia Colony. She was rushed to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for treatment.
