Independence Day or National Days are perhaps the most important day for a nation to honour as a national holiday. For many nations the date of Independence Day may be of a baffle fought to gain freedom or the birth of a national hero who helped the country in its struggle for independence.
The Chinese celebrate their Independence Day on the 1st of October every year, marking the foundation of the People's Republic of China. The Central People's Government passed the Resolution on the National Day of the People's Republic of China on December 2, 1949 and declared October I as the National Day or Independence Day of China. China, a cultural state and ancient civilisation in East Asia, is one of the world's oldest leading civilisations, consisting of states and cultures dating back more than six millennia. China is the worlds longest constantly used written language system, and also the source of many of the world's greatest inventions, including the Four Great Inventions of ancient China- Paper, the Compass, Gunpowder, and Printing. With Beijing as its capital, the Communist Party of China (CPC) has led the PRC under a one-party system since the state's establishment in 1949.
