The Supreme Court Monday stayed a military court execution till final decision of an appellant forum for adjudication in the matter. Appearing before a two-judge bench of Justice Ejaz Afzal in the case, Khalid Ranjha, counsel for Sabir Shah said that military court had awarded death sentence to his 17-year old client. Ranjha challenged the execution on the grounds that his client's age was in question to which the bench asked him to file appeal to the proper forum and granted stay order till final adjudication of the matter.
