Shamsur Rehman, Deputy Director Department of Information Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Press Secretary to Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sardar Mahtab Ahmad Khan passed away due to cardiac arrest here on Sunday.
He was the resident of village Alladhandh Dheri, Batkhela in Malakand. Shamsur Rehman held the post of Deputy Director, Department of Information Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and was performing his duties as Press Secretary to Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa here at Governor's House in Peshawar.
He was a dutiful and committed officer and performed his duties in the department of Information Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for almost 30 years.
His funeral prayers was offered in the afternoon on Sunday and he was laid to rest in his native village, Alladhandh Dheri, Batkhela Malakand Agency. Thousands of people has attended his funeral prayers and condoled the sad demise of Shamsur Rehman and prayed for the eternal peace of his departed soul.
