In recognition of maintaining exemplary cleanliness during the Eid-ul-Azha, the management of Water and Sanitation Services Peshawar (WSSP) announced one week salary as bonus for the sanitation staff, apart from routine overtime.
In a statement issued here on Sunday, the Chief Executive Officer of Water and Sanitation Services Peshawar (WSSP) Engineer Muhammad Naeem Khan said that upon recommendation of the Operations Wing, the Chief Executive Officer and the Board of Directors have approved the provision of one week salary as bonus. "The routine overtime will also be given as per the already prescribed rules. Workers are our valuable assets and WSSP always recognises their efforts towards a clean, healthier Peshawar", the Chief Executive Officer added.
The CEO of WSSP, Engineer Muhammad Naeem khan hoped that the sanitation staff will continue similar efforts in their routine work as well. He said that the sanitation staffs are an integral part of WSSP and every effort will be made to better facilitate the sanitation staff. The management including himself and the Board of Directors has a great affection towards the sanitation staff, Engineer Muhammad Naeem Khan concluded.
It is pertinent to mention here that during the special cleanliness campaign during Eid-ul-Azha; more than 3,000 sanitary workers participated in the special 04-day campaign, aimed at timely disposal of remaining of sacrificial animals.
