Three children were killed while two others sustained multiple injuries in a roof collapse incident, in the area of Madina Town police station here on Tuesday. According to police, the incident took place at Dawood Colony where roof of 2nd floor of an under construction house owned by Anwar Masih collapsed.
As a result, Sahil (4.5) d/o Sajid, Rida (12) d/o Maqsood and her sister Lashba (2) buried under the debris and died on the spot while Maqsood, his sons Taemoor (8) and Raja (3) sustained multiple injuries and they were shifted to hospital in critical condition. On receiving information, the area police rushed to the spot and took the bodies into custody for investigation.
