Department of the Auditor General of Pakistan being a sponsoring body of Pakistan Institute of Public Finance Accountants (PIPFA) is holding a conference on public sector financial management at Avari Hotel on Monday. The conference will start at 8.30 am and will end at 03.00 pm. The Auditor General will preside over the conference.
Chief Executive Officer, Rob Whiteman of Chartered Institute of Public Finance Accountancy (CIPFA) UK is also attending the one day conference.
He will sign a MoU with PIPFA which is the only recognised institution in Pakistan engaged in imparting training in public sector financial management. The MoU is considered a milestone in career and professional development of public sector finance managers in Pakistan.
