Equities moved both ways at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) on Monday where investors adopted a cautious approach under the lead of hot favourite amid increase in index. ISE Ten Index showed an improvement of 64.43 points as the ISE Ten Index moved from 3,054.23 to 3,118.66 points. The overall turnover amounted to 45,300 shares as compared to previous volume of 403,500 shares.
Total 153 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks 92 closed in positive territory, (61) closed in negative territory, whereas no company remained pegged to its overnight levels. The volume of Bank of Punjab was 44,000 shares. The volume of Silk Bank was 1,000 shares. The volume of Pakistan Oilfields was 300 shares.
