On Tues-day, BRIndex30 remained positive for most of the trading time except in the last hour when it displayed a downward trend. It closed at 20,787.80 points with net change of -117.27 points. Total turnover was 127,064,000, which was higher by almost 20 million than yesterday's turnover. Among BRIndex30 companies, Pak Elektron was the most traded company with turnover of 21,400,000.
It was also the second most traded company in stocks exchange. Among BRIndex30 companies, nine companies were up and 21 were down. Among BR Sector Indices, BR Technology and Communication Index was the leading index by volume with total turnover of 22,317,500. TRG Pakistan was the most traded company in this index with turnover of 18,163,000. Index itself remained positive throughout the trading time closing at 1,328.66 points with net change of 5.11 points.
Second highest BR Sector by volume was BR Cement Index with turnover of 20,174,000. Most traded company in this sector was Fauji Cement with turnover of 5,225,500. Index remained positive for most of the trading time except in the last hour when it also displayed a downward trend closing at 5,312.87 points with net change of -21.02 points.
Third highest BR Sector Index by volume was BR Chemicals Index with total turnover of 18,771,140. Lotte Chemical was the most traded company in this sector with turnover of 11,860,500. This index also remained positive for most of the trading time closing at 1,872.78 points with net change of 16.39 points.
