ISE index down 52.35 points

Bears dominated the proceedings at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) on Tuesday, where equities showed negative signs under the lead of hot favourite amid decrease in index. ISE Ten Index was down by 52.35 points as the ISE Ten Index moved from 3,118.66 to 3,066.31 points. The overall turnover amounted to 63,500 shares as compared to previous turnover of 45,300 shares.
Total 149 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (93) closed in negative territory, 56 landed in plus column and zero company remained pegged to its overnight levels. The volume of Bank of Punjab was 54,500 shares. The volume of Askari Bank was 5,000 shares. The volume of Silk Bank was 2,000 shares.
