This was said by the Spanish Ambassador in Pakistan Carlos Morales while in a meeting with Chairperson Senate Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs Senator Nuzhat Sadiq, said a press release here on Thursday. Nuzhat Sadiq said that visit of the trade mission to Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad, after so long would usher in a new era of exploring trade possibilities for the two countries.
She said that more parliamentary exchanges and linkages between Spain and Pakistan would help in building the bilateral relationship. He said that the world's view about Pakistan was changing and it was acknowledging the difference Pakistan was making. He said that with new elections in Spain on December 20, he will have a job of teaching the new government a lot about Pakistan.
Later, Ambassador of Azerbaijan Dashgin Shikarov also called on Senator Nuzhat Sadiq and assured of Azerbaijan's continued support to Pakistan in all spheres especially in the cause of Kashmir. Senator Nuzhat Sadiq said that bilateral relations of Pakistan and Azerbaijan is not just political but a deep rooted historical, cultural relationship which continues to grow. Shikarov said the obstacles in trade between the two countries are now removed after the launch of direct flights to Baku twice a week.
