Sindh Governor Dr Ishrat-ul-Ebad in his message on Ashura-e-Muharram has said that the sacrifice of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) is a great example for the entire humanity. He said sacrifices of the Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA), his family members and companions and the way they faced the tyrants in Karbala for protection of the principles of Islam, were guiding light for all human beings, said a statement on Friday.
He said "the incident of Karbala is a luminous chapter of Islamic history which teaches us maintenance of discipline in the society and face the evils with patience and firmness." He called upon the nation to pledge to get united and give every possible sacrifice for supremacy of Islam by practically following in the footsteps of martyrs of Karbala.
