Counter-Terrorism Department of KP police have arrested 93 suspects including a militant wanted in attacks on forces during a search operation in Shor area of district Swat. The suspected militant Akhtar Ali, son of Aser Ali, resident of Doglai, Upper Shor was involved in attacks on security forces during the year of 2009.
According to a spokesman of Swat police, on a tip, a team of CTD conducted a search operation in Upper Shor and Doglai areas of Tehsil Matta, Swat and arrested a militant hiding in area, who was involved in attacks on security forces during the year of 2009. 92 other suspects were also arrested while six rifles and cartridges were also recovered during the operation.
