A post-Hajj flights operation, which started on September 26 to bring back Pakistani Hujjaj from Saudi Arabia, will complete on Wednesday (tomorrow). This year, as many as 1,43,668 Hujjaj had went to perform the religious obligation under the government and private schemes. "The successful and timely completion of pre and post-Hajj flights operations will be a big achievement of the ministry," official sources in the Ministry of Religious Affairs told APP.
They said Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), Saudi Airlines and Shaheen Airlines are participating in the post-Hajj flight operations and bringing back the pilgrims from Saudi Arabia to different cities of Pakistan. Expressing satisfaction over the smooth conduct of pre-Hajj flight operation, they said the flight operation would be completed within the prescribed time.
This year, they said, the Ministry had deployed the Hajj Medical mission consisting of 450 staff of paramedics and doctors to extend maximum healthcare to Pakistani pilgrims. The medical teams had provided treatment to around 1,77,733 pilgrims, they added.
