The Sindh High Court (SHC) on Monday extended a pre-arrest bail of former Managing Director KWSB, Hashim Raza Zaidi, till 16th November 2015. National Accountability Bureau (NAB) is investigating into charges of corruption and embezzlement against the front men of corruption mafia in Sindh including former Commissioner of the metropolis, Hashim Raza Zaidi.
SHC bench had restrained NAB from arresting him while granting him a pre-arrest bail. Zaidi's counsel stated that his client had nothing to do with any corruption or embezzlement; therefore his bail should be extended. SHC bench approved the request and extended his bail till 16th November. Earlier the court had directed Zaidi to cooperate with relevant authorities in investigation and not to leave the country. SHC bench also directed the interior ministry not to provide him a passport and other documents required for travelling abroad.
