Two policemen were killed in an exchange of fire with robbers here on Tuesday. The cops deployed for the security of a senior lawyer in Haidri, north Nazimabad chased robbers who were fleeing after committing a robbery in the locality. An exchange of fire took place between the fleeing robbers and police personnel in which both cops identified as Shahnawaz and Aslam were critically wounded. The injured were rushed to hospital where they succumbed to their wounds. Chief Minister Sindh, Syed Qaim Ali Shah, taking the notice of the incident has asked IG Sindh to submit a report within 24 hours.
