Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Elementary and Secondary Education, Mohammad Atif Khan has directed health authorities and district administration Mardan for provision of better treatment facilities to those injured in the devastated earthquake and carry immediate assessment of human casualties and financial losses to present it to the government to enable it for the provision of assistance to victims without any delay.
He issued these directives while inquiring after the health of the injured of earthquake here in District Headquarters Hospital (DHQ) Mardan. On this occasion, of the district administration and concerned health authorities were also present. The provincial minister said that natural disasters could be compete, but due to better planning the losses and problems of the affected could be timely redressed.
He said that at this critical time the provincial government is standing by the affectees and will utilise all available resources for their speedy rehabilitation. He said that the provincial government will provide assistance to the affected people from its own resources.
