Former AJK Prime Minister, Sultan Mahmood Chaudhary has said that the million March staged by Kashmiris in front of United Nations in New York, like a million March in London, helped to expose Indian conspiracies and urged the world body to implement its resolutions for resolution of longstanding Kashmir issue.
According to a press release issued by former AJK Prime Minister here on Thursday, the All Parities Kashmir Committee supported me and gave a clear message to the world community regarding the settlement of Kashmir issue, he made these remarks while addressing as chief guest the All Parties Kashmir Committee constituted in the British House of Commons.
More than 40 members of the British Parliament will urge the British Prime Minister, David Cameroon to play his role in granting the Kashmiris their right to self-determination in accordance with the resolutions of UN Security Council. Barrister Sultan Mahmood said that the Committee has decided to write a letter to the British Prime Minister urging him to help stop Indian human rights violations in occupied Kashmir. Other organisations will also be asked to sign this letter.
He said that Indian government would be asked to withdraw its troops from the cities of occupied Kashmir, repeal a draconian laws under which any person or a house could be searched without warrant, release all the political prisoners in occupied Kashmir and political leadership across the Kashmir to be allowed to sit together and evolve a joint strategy for Kashmir independence.

The members of the British Parliament lauded Barrister Sultan Mahmood for holding a historic million march in New York likewise in Srinagar, Muzaffarabad, Islamabad, Brussels and London. Andrew Griffiths said that Barrister Sultan Mahmood projected the Kashmir issue at all fora and they support his struggle for the just resolution of Kashmir issue. Shabana Mahmood, and Naz Shah assured Barrister Sultan Mahmood to support his struggle in letter and spirit. Barrister Sultan Mahmood thanked the members of the British Parliament and said that the letter of British parliament has brought a new ray of light for the Kashmiris who are struggling for their rights to self determination.-PR
