"Hundreds of earthquake-hit families are still stranded with no relief items from the government," claimed Secretary General of the Pakistan Awami Tehreek Khurram Nawaz Gandapur in his address to media persons on Friday after visiting the quake-hit areas.
The party leader said that food, medicines, tents and blankets were distributed to over 500 families with the help of over 200 volunteers and his party and the Minhajul Quran would continue to look after them.
The party chief in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Khalid Durrani, too accompanied with the delegation which visited the quake-affected areas and the Lady Reading Hospital in Peshawar.
